Stackable shims for fast, adjustable window and door installation. Individual plastic shims are heat-welded into convenient stacks, allowing installers to peel apart layers to achieve the required thickness. Breakaway sections also allow the shim length to be adjusted to fit the application.

    STACKABLE PEEL-APART SHIMS

    Glazelock Stackable Shims provide a fast and convenient way to achieve precise spacing when installing and leveling residential and commercial windows and doors. Individual plastic shims are heat-welded together into a stack, allowing installers to peel away layers until the required thickness is reached.

    Instead of carrying and combining multiple loose shim thicknesses, each stack provides a range of adjustment in a single piece. Peel away individual layers to reduce the stack thickness, or use the full stack where greater spacing is required.

    Breakaway sections at the ends of the shim legs provide another level of flexibility. Sections can be snapped off as needed to shorten the shim while retaining the U-shaped opening for placement around bolts, anchors, and fasteners.

    Available in Long, Short, and Mini configurations, Glazelock Stackable Shims provide options for different installation requirements. The Mini is also available with 1/32″ layers for applications requiring finer thickness adjustment.

    Made from recycled high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), Glazelock Stackable Shims provide a durable plastic alternative to wood and other traditional shimming materials. They will not rot, shrink, or swell and are suitable for window and door installation as well as leveling and spacing cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile, and other construction applications.
