    PLASTIC FLAT SHIMS FOR LEVELING & SPACING

    Glazelock Flat Shims provide a simple, durable solution for leveling, spacing, and alignment in construction, glazing, and industrial applications. Each shim provides a broad 2″ × 4″ bearing surface and can be used individually or stacked with additional shims to achieve the required spacing.

    Flat Shims are molded in convenient sheets of 12 and designed to snap apart easily when needed. This keeps the individual shims together for handling and storage while allowing installers to quickly separate the quantity required for the job.

    The solid rectangular design is well suited for precast concrete, tilt-wall construction, curtain walls, glazing, machinery and equipment leveling, furniture, appliances, and other applications where a broad shimming surface is useful.

    For installations involving a bolt or anchor, a hole can also be drilled through the shim, allowing it to fit over the fastener and helping prevent the shim from moving out of position.

    Made from high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), Glazelock Flat Shims will not rot, shrink, or swell like wood. They’re available in three color-coded thicknesses: 1/16″ blue, 1/8″ red, and 1/4″ black.
