    3″ × 4″ INTERLOCKING HORSESHOE SHIMS

    Glazelock 3″ × 4″ Interlocking Horseshoe Shims provide stable, adjustable spacing for windows, doors, curtain walls, storefronts, glazing, cabinetry, and other construction applications. The large 3″ × 4″ footprint provides increased bearing area when an installation calls for a larger shim.

    The U-shaped profile fits around bolts, anchors, and fasteners up to 7/8″. This allows installers to position the shim around existing hardware without removing the fastener. Use individual shims for fixed spacing, or combine multiple thicknesses to achieve the required gap.

    Glazelock’s patented interlocking design snaps stacked shims securely together. As a result, the shims stay aligned during installation without tape or glue. The interlocking feature is especially useful when an application requires several shims to build up a larger gap.

    Glazelock molds these plastic horseshoe shims from durable high-impact polystyrene (HIPS). Unlike wood, the plastic will not rot, shrink, or swell. The material also resists splitting and provides a consistent bearing surface.

    Available thicknesses:

    • 1/16″ – Blue
    • 1/8″ – Red
    • 1/4″ – Black

    The three color-coded thicknesses make identification easy on the jobsite. They can also be combined to create additional spacing options.

    These shims work well for window and door installation, curtain wall systems, storefront glazing, cabinetry, millwork, and general construction leveling and alignment.
