Glazelock Interlocking Horseshoe Shims provide a secure, adjustable solution for leveling, spacing and alignment in window and door installation, curtain walls, storefronts and other construction applications. Our patented interlocking design allows multiple plastic horseshoe shims to snap securely together, eliminating the need to tape or glue stacked shims. Made from durable high-impact polystyrene, Glazelock shims resist splitting, shifting, rot, shrinkage and swelling. Choose from 1-1/2″ × 3″ and 3″ × 4″ sizes with multiple thickness and package options to fit your application.

Choosing the Right Interlocking Horseshoe Shim Size

Glazelock Interlocking Horseshoe Shims are available in two sizes. Both feature the same interlocking design and are available in 1/16", 1/8" and 1/4" thicknesses, but the larger size provides additional bearing area and clearance for larger fasteners.

1-1/2" × 3" Interlocking Horseshoe Shims
A versatile choice for window and door installation, glazing, storefronts and general leveling and alignment applications. The compact footprint works well where space is limited while still allowing the shim to be positioned around bolts, anchors and other fasteners up to 1/2"

3" × 4" Interlocking Horseshoe Shims
Choose the larger 3" × 4" shim when the application benefits from a broader bearing surface or requires clearance around larger hardware. The larger U-shaped opening accommodates bolts, anchors and fasteners up to 7/8".

Not sure which thickness you need?
Individual thicknesses can be stacked and interlocked to build the required spacing. Combine 1/16", 1/8" and 1/4" shims as needed to achieve the desired height.
